Unforgettable winter moments at your dog-friendly hotel in Austria
Welcome, furry friends!
If you’re travelling with a dog, one question comes up again and again – especially on a ski holiday: where can your four-legged friend stay? The answer is simple: at the Sunora, darling. At our dog-friendly hotel in Austria, we understand exactly what dogs need for a winter break: snow to romp in, crisp mountain air to sniff, trails to explore, and a cosy place to settle while they watch the snowflakes fall.
We’re dog owners ourselves, so we know how much it matters that your four-legged companion feels every bit as comfortable as you do. That is what makes the Sunora such a relaxed choice for a dog-friendly vacation in Lech am Arlberg.
Your dog.

A dog-friendly vacation right on the slopes? Naturally!
Your dog-friendly ski hotel is located where the day begins with snow and ends in high spirits. After your dog’s morning sniff around, you clip into your skis while your furry friend settles in comfortably in your room. By lunchtime, you are together again, ready to explore the wintery surroundings of your dog-friendly hotel in Austria.
Lech am Arlberg:
paradise on four paws
A slope-side dog-friendly vacation is a treat for the whole family. Lech has everything that makes winter glorious: snow, mountains, and a real sense of space. Dogs must be kept on a lead in the village centre, but out on the many winter walking trails, you’ll find plenty of room to let them run free.
Many restaurants are happy to welcome dogs – though it’s always worth calling ahead to check. On public transport, dogs must be on a lead and wear a muzzle.
Preparation and planning
Does your dog love snow? They’re in luck. Temperatures on Mount Arlberg can drop to well below freezing. Please note: your dog will need a coat suited to the conditions, or a jacket if necessary. Your four-legged companion should also be fit enough for winter adventures at altitude. To enter Austria, every animal must have a valid EU pet passport and a rabies vaccination, which becomes valid 21 days after the initial immunisation.
